Empowering young
South Australians for
over 36 years

We believe every young person deserves to thrive – not just survive

Approximately 384,000 (12%) young people aged 15 to 24
aren’t in employment, education or training.

34% Young Australians are in danger of being the first generation in memory to have lower living standards than their parents’ generation.

More than 1 in 5 rate their mental health as poor or very poor

More than half of young Australians aged 18 to 24 feel lonely

At Youth Options, we want our young people to know they don’t have to navigate these challenges alone.

We provide support to young people experiencing social disadvantage.

Our programs build confidence and skills through activities focused on social and emotional learning, skill development, and work preparedness.

Preparing Today for a Brighter Tomorrow

Youth Options offer much more than short-term quick fixes. We nurture young people’s potential and empower them with the confidence and skills to thrive in an uncertain world.

We prepare young people for long-term success through a whole-person approach. Our tailored support packages include learning programs, advocacy, mentoring and case management.

Our services adopt a strengths-based, trauma-informed and experiential learning model. This human-centred approach is adaptable and responsive, focusing on social-emotional learning, skill development, and work readiness.

NDIS Adelaide

As a registered provider, we transform the lives of young people living with a disability through a highly individualised service. Our experiential capacity-building programs empower young people to develop their confidence, skills and resilience that takes them out of a cycle of low skilled, low paid and insecure employment and into an employment pathway where they can thrive.
