I Want To Learn
“At Youth Options, Experiential Learning is the foundation of our learning programs.”
Learning goes far beyond memorising multiplication tables. Any lasting change of mood, outlook or behaviour requires learning. As kids, we learn habits, character strengths and how to interact with others. Through learning we influence who we become and who we want to be.
Experiential Learning means learning through experience and is a hands-on approach to learning. that moves away from just the teacher at the front of the room talking at students. It makes learning an experience that moves beyond the classroom and strives to involve the students.
Experiential business learning is the process of learning and developing business skills through shared experience. This is a “real-life” experience that include business leaders sharing their best practice, individuals being mentored or coached by a person who has faced similar challenges and issues, or simply listening to an expert or thought leader in current business thinking.
